So maybe you’re dating one guy or you’re dating a few guys and you’re not exclusive or committed with ANY of them.

And the holidays are coming and you’re wondering if you should buy him a gift:

·       What do I do?

·       Am I supposed to buy a gift?

·       What if they buy me a gift and I have nothing for them?

These are totally understandable questions and I’m going to help make this a simple decision for you.

Here’s the thing!

I don’t have a one-size-fits-all answer for you.

It depends on YOU.

I would like you to think about this first.

What is your underlying energy when you’re thinking about buying a guy a gift?

Are you coming from a place of proving energy?

Good girl energy?

Are you thinking:

“Oh, if I buy him a gift, it’s going to impress him and he’s going to like me more?”

“He will think what a great woman I am.”

Or are you coming from a place of confidence, abundance, and joy?

Where you just want to give a gift for the sheer joy of it?

And you have no expectations in return.

These are some questions you’ll want to quickly ponder on alright.

Figure out your energy, make a fast decision, and move on.

And the next thing I wanted to tell you is that if you’re dating a masculine man, (my coaching is for feminine women with women in their feminine energy, who desire to date solid, healthy masculine men), THEY like to be the givers.

So, if you get a man a big fancy expensive gift, ESPECIALLY if you’re not even in an exclusive or in a committed relationship, it’s going to turn him off.

It will NOT draw him closer to you.

Keep in mind that solid masculine men like to be the givers.

Alright.

If you decide to get a guy you’re dating a gift

Keep it very small.

A low investment.

And low-effort to acquire the gift.

Especially if you’re dating a few guys, you’re not committed to any of them.

There’s no reason in the world to buy an expensive gift.

Buy a small cute gift.

Here’s another option.

Don’t buy him a gift.

Not for any of the men you’re dating.

It’s actually not even a requirement.

You do not have to get them a gift!

Now you may wonder:

“Well, what if they get me a gift and I have nothing to

give back well.”

If they give you a gift, you appreciate the gift(s).

You thank them for the gift and that’s okay.

And if they’re solid healthy men.

They’re just going to be happy that YOU’RE happy with their gift.

And there’s no reason to feel bad or feel like you should have given them a gift in return.

It’s perfectly fine to not give them a gift at this stage because you’re not in a relationship yet.

So, these are things to think about.

Whatever you decide, just make a decision quickly.

Don’t overthink it!

It’s not a huge deal just pick one of these and go with it.

🎀Gift ideas for a guy you’re dating all under $25

My approach to buying gifts for men is to be thoughtful and creative.

Think about some conversations you’ve had with the guy you’re dating.

You can garner some clues there as to things he likes.

Gifts For Foodies

Whether or not he’s a foodie, you can’t go wrong with a food gift.

Because the VAST majority of men enjoy eating tasty food😀

  •   a nifty kitchen gadget that will simplify things for him

·       a batch of cookies. (my vegan-melt-in-your-mouth Christmas cookies are DIVINE)

Only if you’re making some, anyway.

Either for yourself and/or as gifts to other people.

It’s TOO much effort at this stage for you to be spending hours in the kitchen to bake cookies for one guy you’re not committed to.

 ·    A bag of premium exotic coffee or tea (if you both love tea, you’ll get Oolong)😀

·       A monogrammed mug.

·       Gourmet food. Like fig jam, seasoned popcorn, and some other delectable treat.

·       Premium candy.

 Entertainment

·      A DVD of a movie, concert or documentary

I once gave a guy a DVD of Beetlejuice.

He’d mentioned that it was his absolute favourite movie in the world, and for some reason, he didn’t own it.

He was blown away when I gave it to him. The look on his face said it all.

It was the PERFECT gift. Very thoughtful, inexpensive and effortless to get.

·      Vinyl record of his favourite band from the 70s

·      A book. Be sure that he’s a reader before you buy one.

·      2-3 magazines. Based on one or a few of his interests and passions.

 What not to buy

·       crafts or making anything for him that is time-consuming

·       clothing and accessories like scarves, ties, socks, hats, etc.

At this stage of dating, that feels too much like mom or grandma.

·       Gift card at Starbucks. This isn’t too thoughtful, and it’s way too common as a gift.

·       Jewelry

·       Decor

Will you be buying a holiday gift for the guy(s) you’re dating?
